Let Practical Tactical Firearms training company take you through the ultimate "Handgun Experience." Through this training class you will not only receive basic firearms training, but you will also learn about, load and shoot up to 16 different handguns from Glock, H&K, Sig, STI,Taurus, DiamondBack and others . . . all included in the course fee! Getting tired of just shooting holes in paper?
Ready to try something challenging?

Ancient City Shooting Range is introducing Action Pistol shooting for folks who want to step up their level of proficiency with a handgun. Action pistol entails shooting paper and steel targets from different positions while being timed. Accuracy is important but a shorter time definitely factors in. All competitors are accompanied by two range officers during their stage which makes the match very safe and fun.

You may draw from a belt holster if you wish but a low ready start is also acceptable. Courses of fire (COF) will be different each month with both practical and fun applications. There are also magazine changes required so start brushing up on your reloading skills- safely!

Action pistol is a great primer for those wishing to move on to IPSC competition as your speed and accuracy increase. Come shoot with us and enjoy your pistols in a fun and safe atmosphere while sharpening your practical skills. Bring 150 rounds and you'll go home with some left over for the following month. More than 30,000 troops have been injured in recent conflicts, many of them suffering traumatic brain injuries, amputations and severe burns. Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) provides services and programs to ease their burdens and aid in the transition back to civilian life.

Thousands of signature WWP backpacks have been delivered to the hospital bedsides of America's wounded with such comfort items as a tee shirt, shorts, toiletries phone card, cd player and more.

Our benefits liaisons who deliver these backpacks are often wounded warriors themselves, and their experience and guidance offers inspiration and assurance that an injury need not prevent a happy, productive life. We build a wounded warrior community of support where individuals can help each other cope with their injuries and successfully transition to civilian life.

Membership Sales are Unstoppable!

Unbelievable! There's no denying that Ancient City Shooting Range will be the fastest growing outdoor shooting range in the Sunshine State! We now have over 802 registered members and their families. We have been so amazed at the amount of youth that have come out to participate in shooting activities with family members and are excited about launching our youth programs.

Reality check . . . with the growing number of applications we are receiving, we have less than 200 memberships available with Ancient City Shooting Range during the building of phase 2--the member's clubhouse (Summer '10). Our current max goal per year is 1000 members.

What does this mean? Anyone interested in becoming a member is encouraged to come out to the range Mon-Sat 10am-4pm, Sunday Noon-4:30 for Q&A sessions with our training staff, tour the facility and activate their membership.

Shooting ranges are open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 11am-5pm
