Youth Firearms Training and Education
& Safety Programs
in our area and throughout the State of Florida!
Your support provides the funds for grants awarded by the Friends of NRA - Florida State Fund Committee
The Florida State Fund Committee, which is comprised of representatives from each Friends of NRA Committee in Florida (ours is the St Augustine committee), funded 43 youth programs totalling $172,246.77 for 2011.
We are asking members and their family and friends to please support our local committee by donating gift certificates, business services or goods to be auctioned at our annual fundraising dinner and by attending the event. This is a great way to network and help fund youth programs in the state of Florida in areas of firearm training and safety education.

HELP a wounded warrior
More than 30,000 troops have been injured in recent conflicts, many of them suffering traumatic brain injuries, amputations and severe burns. Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) provides services and programs to ease their burdens and aid in the transition back to civilian life.

Thousands of signature WWP backpacks have been delivered to the hospital bedsides of America's wounded with such comfort items as a tee shirt, shorts, toiletries phone card, cd player and more.
Our benefits liaisons who deliver these backpacks are often wounded warriors themselves, and their experience and guidance offers inspiration and assurance that an injury need not prevent a happy, productive life. We build a wounded warrior community of support where individuals can help each other cope with their injuries and successfully transition to civilian life.

Membership Sales are Unstoppable!
Unbelievable! There's no denying that Ancient City Shooting Range will be the fastest growing outdoor shooting range in the Sunshine State! We now have over 989 registered members and their families (1,412 total). We have been so amazed at the amount of youth that have come out to participate in shooting activities with family members and are excited about launching our youth programs.
Reality check . . . with the growing number of applications we are receiving, we have less than 100 memberships available with Ancient City Shooting Range during the building of phase 2--the member's clubhouse (Fall '12). Our current max goal per year is 1000 members
What does this mean? Anyone interested in becoming a member is encouraged to come out to the range Mon-Sat 10am-4pm, Sunday Noon-4:00 for Q&A sessions with our training staff, tour the facility and activate their membership.
Shooting ranges are open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm, Sun NOON-5pm
