Moving Targets

Training on moving targets has become mandatory for law enforcement agencies across the country, and rightfully so. When was the last time you were in a violent confrontation with someone who just stood still? Because running seems to be a part of most gunfights, the ability to fire safely and accurately at moving threats can be one of an officer's greatest assets. Ancient City Shooting Range's live fire shoot mazes and MOUT City will help prepare law enforcement personnel for these situations.

Reactive Targets

Reactive shooting is the skill a police officer must rely on when confronted with a suddenly hazardous situation. It is a critical skill that can save officers' lives, and is achieved by implementing a program consisting of conditioned hand-eye coordination developed by ACSR's training program and Action Target air-powered reactive steel systems.

A.T.T.A.C. - American Tactical Training Arms Center - Florida 's Exclusive Outdoor Tactical Shooting Range provides law enforcement agencies, SWAT and military units a tactical training facility featuring MOUT city with sim houses (simuition rated) five scenario houses with breaching doors. Scenarios are: 1) Dorm/Hotel rooms and hallway 2) Storefront 3) Office cubicle setting 4) School 5) House with movable walls for close quarters combat. All houses equipped with video for reviewing clearing drills, computer simulators, low light training and noise distractions, an arsenal of training weapons, 360 degree sim range with airplane, bus and other vehicles for hostage rescue training, 360 degree live fire training range with an obstacle course equipped with targets and barricades, blast house with breaching doors, walls and windows for dynamic explosive entry drills, 50' niper/repel tower equipped with moving targets and secure weapon storage designed to meeting the tactical training needs of military and law enforcement personnel.

Our outdoor shooting range, managed by Ancient City Shooting Range, is an exclusive membership only facility offering state of the art moving target systems on: (2) 25yd private ranges, (2) 25yd public shooting/archery ranges, (2) 50yd shooting ranges, (1) 75yd shooting range, (1) 100yd shooting range and (1) 200yd qualifying range. All outdoor shooting/archery ranges have 20 firing positions with bench rest and feature fully covered, climate controlled shooting stations. Assorted firearms are available for rental. The clubhouse features three fully equipped classrooms, one 125 stadium seating classroom, proshop, gunsmithing, restaurant and banquet facilities.

Our training operations will be managed by SOG International, one of the largest mobile tactical training companies on the east coast.
