Single Action Shooting Society

The Single Action Shooting Society is an international organization created to preserve and promote the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting™. SASS endorses regional matches conducted by affiliated clubs, stages END of TRAIL The World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting, promulgates rules and procedures to ensure safety and consistency in Cowboy Action Shooting matches, and seeks to protect its members' 2nd Amendment rights. SASS members share a common interest in preserving the history of the Old West and competitive shooting.

USPSA/Steel Challenge

Are you ready to challenge yourself to speed & accuracy? Imagine yourself in an ambush or being approached by a group of thugs… how fast will you be able to take them out before they get a shot at you?  This match is ideal for first time competitors who want to increase their reactionary speed level toward their target. Steel Challenge scoring is simple: your time is your score. There are five targets, commonly referred to as plates. Four are primary plates, and the fifth is designated as the stop plate. Each of the primary targets must be hit at least once during each string of fire, followed by the stop plate, which must be hit last to stop the time. Competitors may fire as many rounds as they deem necessary for each string of fire. The best four out of five strings will be counted as the total score for each stage, except for Outer Limits, which will be the best three out of four runs. Total score for all stages will determine the order of finish for final standings.

International Defense Pistol Association

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) oversees a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real-life encounters. It is geared toward the new or average shooter but is also rewarding for the experienced shooter to test skill and ability. NSSF sponsors IDPA's Winter Championships and is a national-level premier sponsor of regional matches and competitions.

We currently are not hosting IDPA sanctioned matches at our facility.

International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association

The IHMSA organization started in 1976 with the purpose of promoting handgun silhouette competition. The object of the competition is to knock down metallic silhouettes (chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams) at various ranges to a maximum of 200 meters. The sport has spread to many countries and matches are shot all over the USA. Many different types of matches are shot and there is always one to suit any member of the family. The matches vary according to handgun type (.22 to big bore) and shooting position (standing to free style). We pride ourselves in our diversity as IHMSA is open to men, women and children of all ages and physical abilities.
