More Women Using Firearms
American women are buying guns and taking aim on firing ranges in growing numbers, according to a recent study and interviews with gun shop owners. A 2009 study found 70 percent of shop owners reported more female buyers.
Each year, thousands of women discover the benefits that our range membership offers them, from firearms safety training to learning outdoors skills to taking responsibility for their personal safety into their own hands - not to mention their family's safety. Ancient City Shooting Range is thrilled when women try competitive shooting; when women try recreational shooting; and when women learn that marksmanship is a skill like any other.
We hope that each year, more and more women will learn that they have a place at Ancient City Shooting Range alongside their husbands, their fathers, and their brothers. Women belong here, and we want them to bring their mothers, their sisters, their nieces, and their daughters with them.

Improve your personal safety strategies with NRA's Refuse To Be A Victim® Program.
Experts agree that the single most important step toward ensuring your personal safety is making the decision to refuse to be a victim. That means that you must have an overall personal safety strategy in place before you need it.
Through a three to four hour seminar (shorter presentations are available) called Refuse To Be A Victim®, you can learn the personal safety tips and techniques you need to avoid dangerous situations and avoid becoming a victim.
Hundreds of federal, state, and local law enforcement officials across the country have implemented Refuse To Be A Victim® into their crime prevention and community policing initiatives.
Here are just a few of the topics presented in the Refuse To Be A Victim® seminar:
Home Security
Personal Security
Automobile Security
